Ovulating right after period?

Can you ovulate directly after your period ends? I am cramping on the left side of my body, and I got over my period two days ago. Does this mean I'm going to ovulate soon?

if you normally have very short cycles it is possible to ovulate right after your period.
while cramping is one sign of ovulation, there is no way to know whether your cramping specifically is ovulation related or something completely different. try drinking a lot of water, many cramps are caused by dehydration.

i actually think I ovulated like a week early than i was suppose to. guess we will see... who knows

My period ends on CD 5 and I can start to get O symptoms as early as CD 8 sometimes. So yes, if your cycles are on the shorter side, it's possible to start feeling O pains.

Do you know what your cycle length is?

I don't know what my cycle length is because I just got off the pill a month ago. I got my period on the 24th which if I was on the pill I would have gotten it on the 25th. I was surprised I got it so close to when I would have if I was still on the pill. I figure I will test ovulation every day at this point and see what happens. I had an irregular period to begin with, that's the reason why I originally went on the pill, so I assumed I would be irregular when I got off of it, but I've been on the pill for seven years, so I have no idea what my cycle lengths are going to be like....
