family tradition from your childhood that you share (or will share) w/your DC?

I have a few random memories that 29/30 years are still so vibrant, I want to bring to my children.

1. My grandpa used to bake bread and to this day, that smell makes me feel like I am home no matter where I am.

2. I used to sing a lot with both of my parents. I loved how it made me feel to belt out a chorus of "God Bless America" w/my dad.

3. My mom & brother used to cook together a lot. I never joined them b/c I kinda felt like it was there special thing....I loved the fact they had that together.

4. It only happened a few years b/f my parents got the big D (divorce) but I have video of it. The whole family would come over to my parents house for Thanksgiving & X-mas. They would eat, drink, sing and have the BEST time. I pray that one day DH & I can provide memories like that for our DC.

5. My mom used to play imaginary games w/me...like house, etc. and she would allow me to just ramble on & on how I was the mommy & she was my sister....etc. I cant wait to do that w/my kids.
