since being off BCP...
...holy af.
i had unbelievable cramps today like worse then ever. af has come with a vengence after being so beautifully under control for the past 8 years with bcp.
i almost had to leave work today, it was so bad. and im training my replacement (im moving departments) so i was like do whatever you want im relaxing

This is what Im afraid of when I go off BCP next month. Ive only been on them for 3 years but Im afraid shes going to get vengence on me haha. Being on BCP for the last 3 years was amazing. AF would come the same day every month, she would not be heavy at all and no bloating, cramps etc.........but now Im scared

I was on BC for 11 years and honestly didn't find my cramps to be THAT bad when I came off it. Of course, I only got my period a few times the first year I was off... so I'd have pain but it was from the cycle of cysts and cysts bursting. Joy. But anyway, I hope it gets better asap!!!

oh yeah tell me about it! the first two days are horrific...heavy bleeding and back pain so bad i cant even stand at points. Not to mention the lovely little brekouits ive been getting. I am dying to go back on the pill!!

I've been off for 2 months and its been CRAZY!! Ive been on bc for soooo long that I totally forgot what "normal" afs are like

I know how you feel. I complained to by OB-GYN and she recommended I up the dosage on Ibfrofen (sp?) as Midol was just not doing it for me.
