another OPK Q..sorry!

hello!
ok im using opk strips and i should be Oing this week....I know that a positive OPK means that you will be Oing within a day or 2, so does the positive test result show up even on the day you O or only up until then?
still learning all this, only on month 2!

I'm not sure I understand your question.

When you see a positive OPK, it means you will ovulate in 12-36 hours. So if you see it at 8 in the morning, you will ovulate between 8:00 that night and 8:00 the next night. So yes, it is possible to get a positive OPK and ovulate the same day, depending on the time you test and how close you are to ovulating.

Remember that the absolute best time to is a little before you ovulate, though, so the sperm has time to get where it needs to go. That's why it's a good idea to when you get a positive OPK - it means that you will ovulate in a day or so, so bd'ing then (12-36 hours before) gives you the best shot at pregnancy.

yes you answered it, i wanted to know if it would still read a LH surge on that same day, so the 12 hour thing makes sense. I used OPKs in june and got a positve but last month and so far this month nothing so I am stressing out and dont want to miss it. thanks so much! Hope all is going well with u
