Does anyone make pancakes/waffles from scratch?
Can I have the recipe??
I want to introduce my DS to pancakes and would rather make them from scratch. I've heard they taste even better.

I use Alton Brown's recipe. You mix all the dry goods together in a huge batch that can sit in the pantry, then add the wet ingredients whenever you want. So it's like using an instant mix, only it's totally from scratch.

I us the Joy of Cooking also for regular pancakes and waffles
and I use this one for whole wheat pancakes but I subsitute melted butter for the veg oil and I add pure vanilla extract.
