Short LP + Spotting before AF

Hi Ladies,

I am off BCP since Feb but was on them for 13 years.

I spot before af...first few months started at 8 dpo now im spotting as early as 5dpo

My doctor put me on Prometrium from 2dpo until AF, but after the first round, still spotting!

Anyone, anyone in the same boat? has your doctor given you an alternate treatment?


IF you got a BFP, did you get the spotting the month of the BFP?

I have a shorter cycle, anywhere from 24-26 days. My LP is any where from 11-12 days. I always started spotting around 9-10 DPO (very very lightly. Never needed a pad or tampon, sorry TMI but it was only when I wipped). I got pregnant in March (still had the spotting), but had a MC at 5 weeks-->maybe it was a sign that somthing was wrong, or it could have been implantation bleeding). Just got pregnant again, I am 5 weeks today, and I didnt have ANY spotting before AF and I have been to the DR. for a beta twice and my numbers look great.

Hope this helps. I wasnt on any supplements or medicine. I did however take vitamin B6 and a B complex because my LP was on the shorter side! GOOD LUCK
