Did this ever happen to you?
Ok, I just posted my "Vent" about getting AF early. I am very regular and have a 28 day cycle. AF may come 1-2 days early 1-3 times a year since I was a teen.
Just wondering if it is normal for it to be SO heavy. Sorry, TMI but I just went through an Ultra tampon in 30 min. I just googled this of course and read that it could be a very very early M/C.
Am I just freaking out or can this be what is happening? 30 min is crazy!!!!!!

I have had cycles where that has happened to me once or twice. My doctor didn't seem too concerned. Was it your first tampon of the day? If so, it could be that all of the fluid was pooled up from lying down and then when you go up, it all came down and soaked right through.
I wouldn't be too worried unless it is like that ALL day. As for it being an early m/c - did you by chance take a test before AF was due. More than likely if you are having a m/c, a HPT would have come up positive. If it came up negative, then it's just a really heavy AF.

some months AF comes heavier then others...i don't think it was an early m/c, but if it continues to be that heavy all day, then i would call your dr.

I have very heavy periods and am a hypochondriac, so I've been through this. 
What they say is, if you go through an Ultra every hour for a day (24 in one day!) then there's a problem. Less than that, it's not an "abnormally" heavy flow. Just annoying.

Thank you guys. Yes, it was the first of the day. Sorry for the TMI. Its is not that crazy now but still bad. Thank goodness it is the weekend and I'm not at work b/c it would be so annoying.

i have heavy periods each month for a day or two. they are horrible. i can go through an ultra in like 2 hours sometimes! i want to die!
