2 ques

This is my 4th month on Clomid..and this month my RE doubled my dosage....and still only 1 follie!...Is this my body telling me that Clomid isnt for me...Im yet to have more than 1 while on it

Im scheduled to for my trigger sunday and and than to my first IUI on Monday morning...how many days prior should we abstain?

I would try injectibles, also clomid isnt good to take long periods of time, thins the lining...

I have been on Clomid more cycles than I care to count

Only one time did I make two follicles, all the rest I made one and my DS was from one of the cycles that produced one follicle

With Clomid they really don't "want" you to make a lot of follicles...Then there is no control over how many fertilize ( ala Octomom)..People w/ out IF issues only drop one per month ( for the most part)

I forget how long we were told to abstain ( 48 hours maybe ?) Did the RE give you a packet or anything to look over ?

i cant even begin to count the amount of clomid cycles ive been on - monitored by RE of course.

I always produced 1 egg - except for 2 times. once on 100mg i produced 2 - got pregnant but mc. was put on 150mg and had 3 mature eggs.. nothing.
the next couple of months i was on 150mg and only produced 1egg per month and ds is a result.

eta: i think ur dh shouldnt produce at least 48 hrs prior to your iui

I was on clomid and only produced one maybe two but never any more. I also think 2 days prior to abstain

I only produced 1 follie on Clomid also. I switched to Gonal-F injections and that was the month I got my BFP. Has your RE considered putting you on injections? I would absolutely consider it. Clomid is very effective for some people, but with each cycle, your uterine lining decreses, that's why they limit you to 12 Clomid cycles in a lifetime.

I would obstain for 2 days before your IUI.
