Do you REWASH "already washed" bagged lettuce?

Or do you just eat it from the bag?

No. I know you're supposed to, but it just defeats the convenience of it.

That said, I generally only buy whole head lettuce because I think it tastes better and lasts longer.

Yes, I rinse it in a collander a few times, then let it sit in water for a few mins, then drain in the salad spinner. I'm so OCD about washing my veggies..so scared of bugs!

Yes--.
It is still convienent, b/c I usually by mixed lettuce--it would be wasteful or me to by whole heads of multiple kinds.

Yes. I was recently on 2 weeks of 3 different antibiotics for HPylori, a stomach bateria, that my doctor said is often caused by bacteria on veggies... so always wash wash wash

My DH gets this alot...but he doesn't eat many fruits and veggies! But yes, I will wash it, thanks!
