How soon can they see multiples on a sono
Does anyone know at what point twins can be seen on sono? I have my first sono with RE a week from today (about 22 dp3dt) & that seems like it is still too early to tell
any idea what they are looking for in this early sono?
My first beta 14dpER was 209 & my 2nd 17dpER was 564 so i am very curious/anxious/etc etc etc

They should be able to see a sac by that time if not a heartbeat so you should have an idea.
My first beta was high too but it was only one.
Let's just hope whatever you have is doing well and thriving!

We saw both sacs and heartbeats at about 6w3d. Good luck and congratulations!

For us, they only saw one sac at 5wks (but my beta numbers were super high). Then, at 6wks, they saw both sacs and two tiny flicker HBs.

I think it was 5 weeks they saw 2 sacs then 8 weeks 3 sacs......

Thanks Everyone - I have a dumb follow up question now
when you say they saw it at 6 weeks is that based on 40 weeks of pregnancy? Ie do u count from 2 weeks prior to ER or is ER day 1?
So if my ER was 7/16. next week when i have sono will it be considered a little over 5 weeks or 3 weeks??

I have been so focused on the trying to get pregnant part, i am completely clueless when it comes to actually being prego

The day of your beta you were 4 weeks pregnant, which seems wrong, but it is how they count it.

The day of your beta you were 4 weeks pregnant, which seems wrong, but it is how they count it.
This is correct, 4 weeks pregnant on your beta day....
so if your ER was 7/16 I am assuming your beta was 7/30 so that puts you 5 weeks on Friday....next week you will be around 5 1/2 weeks pregnant so they will def be able to the see the sac/sacs... I was 5 weeks 2 days pregnant at my first sono and we saw 2 sacs.....GL!!

I think they can usually tell at the first sono, based on the number of sacs. Occasionally I think there is one hiding but I don't think it's too common.

I saw mine at 5 weeks and we saw heartbeats at 6 weeks
