Blood tests today

I had my PCOS/prenatal blood work done by the RE this morning. They tested for everything you can think of - hormone levels, insulin, glucose, STDs, Hepatitis, some chromosomal abnormalities, my blood type (yay! I never knew it), a metabolic panel, and about 100 other things. They gave me a prescription for Provera to bring on AF and will call me today to tell me whether to fill it or not. I can only fill it if they tell me not pregnant (I'm not) and if I haven't already ovulated on my own this cycle (I temp every morning and I know I haven't). I should be getting that call this afternoon.


DH also had his blood drawn, and I saw from his paper that they were testing for STDs and chromosomal stuff too.

I'm excited to get things going. I'm also kind of looking forward to the next 3 weeks on and after the Provera - knowing it'll be physically impossible to get pg for those three weeks will take a lot of the tension and wondering and waiting and pressure to bd out of my days.

The initial testing was intense! It is awesome that you have a positive attitude!!

I was excited to find out my blood type too, I never knew it before.

It's definitely a good feeling when you are taking the necessary steps to get you to your BFP!

Blood tests came back as expected - not pregnant and didn't ovulate. Typical. I'm on CD 33.

So, I'll start taking the Provera tonight. Come on, AF! I'm ready to get this show on the road!
