Monday QOTD
In reality how long did you think it was going to take you to get your BFP...
I'll answer, for DD#1 I had a feeling that I wouldn't get PG right away..DH thought it would happen overnight. We got PG the 6th month of trying... For this time around I'm thinking it may take a little shorter since we know what we're doing this time around

Re: Monday QOTD
I knew it would not be the first month but I thought it would be much quicker than it has been.
Fingers crossed for this month!

Re: Monday QOTD
I got prego with my DD while i was taking the pill (I missed a pill or two and doubled up) and ended up prego on my HM. So we figured with the second it would be breeze, but unfortunately it's been 13 months and I'm still TTC.

Re: Monday QOTD
I got pregnant right away...the weekend after we got married, but that ended in a missed miscarriage and D & C two weeks ago. I'm nervous this time around. I would like for it to happen when my body is ready. The doctor told us to "do whatever, whenever" so that is what we are going to do. to all!

Re: Monday QOTD
I really thought it would happen fairly quickly....like within 2-3 months. But unfortunately it has been 9 months and two chemical pregnancies within those 9 months. I did get my BFP this past weekend, but like I said in my post I am apprehensive about it because of my past experience.

Re: Monday QOTD
I didn't think it would happen right away..but I never imagined that I would not be pregnant after 9 months of trying, 3 failed medicated cycles and 1 failed IVF cycle. Never in a million years...

Re: Monday QOTD
i am trying to be optimistic, but i think it will be a while. ive been on bc for pretty bad ovarian cysts which run on both sides of my family for over 10 years. it took my mom almost 5 years to conceive with me. we just starting trying (i went off the pill in june) but who knows...

Re: Monday QOTD
I honestly figured that for SURE we would succeed by the 6 month mark. Passing that time frame was really rough!
This is cycle # 10.

Re: Monday QOTD
Well since I come from a huge family and seems like no one had any problems pro-creating, I thought it would happen for us right away. Guess I was wrong Been trying for 4 going on 5 months now

Re: Monday QOTD
For DS, I thought it would take longer than it did. We wound up pregnant the 2nd cycle. This time I thought I would get pregnant quicker. I am on my 2nd cycle now, so we will see what happens..

Re: Monday QOTD
I really dont know how long to expect it to take... honestly, I didnt think it would take that long, but now I am second guessing everything and cant help but feel like its going to take a while. I'm month 4 off BC and second cycle being more proactive in really trying as opposed to just seeing what happens.

Re: Monday QOTD
I expected it to take awhile. I have a lot of underlying health issues and was on BCP since age 14 due to irregular periods. That being said, somewhere in the back of my head I was really hoping it would be quick since at least 5 of my friends got pregnant their first month off BCP. Six months later, here I am.

I was positive it'd happen on the first time trying, but I'm not so sure now. We'll find out for sure within the week.

Re: Monday QOTD
We figured it would take at least 3 months. Our one year wedding anniversary was in June so we started in March. I was pregnant in March on the 1st try but who would of thought that it would of happened so fast.
