Entertaining the In-Laws for Tea and Snacks ... need ideas! ... please
They are old school, they will definitely drink only tea... now the question is what to serve with it, like snack like?
Try to stay low on the sugars, FIL is diabetic.

ok so I came up with
deviled eggs fruit salad crapes stuffed with meat and mushrooms and crapes stuffed with some kind of fruit filling ... not sure yet

Smoked salmon roulades with creme fraiche or cream cheese or sour cream and some dill.
mini sandwiches
Make some English scones (biscuits) and serve with fresh whipped cream and some strawberry jam, known as Devonshire Tea
