Def ON all day. There is no way I want to come home to a HOT house in the summer heat! for 12 weeks a year with the AC on all day is worth it to us.

yes. Always at 76. I'm in GA though. So it's a bit of a difference I would still leave it running on LI just at a higher temp. We have told numerous times by different AC companies to keep it running at all times just set it for higher when not home.

We leave it on, but the thermastat is set higher for working hours, at 80. So it does go on, but the house isn't super cool.

we leave it on but its programmed. 76 when we are at work, 74 during the time we are home during the day and 72 at night!

74 if no one is home but the dog, 70-71 when we are home and when we sleep.

We keep it running at a higher temp. He's really not saving anything if the house goes up to 90 degrees during the day and it has to run for hours to get it down. My dad and DH both do HVAC and temp only goes down 1 degree an hour...so if you have the AC at 70 when you come home, but the house is a swampy 88...do the math.

leave it on..on energy save.
I have two units. One that cools the lower level and one for my bedroom.
Other rooms in the house upstairs don't get cooled.

For some very strange reason either my AC is lying or this house stays remarkably cool (even here in Texas). When we are home we keep it between 78-79 and when we are away its up at 80.
Its very cool in my home. Enough that we wear our PJ pants and Tshirts and still get slightly chilled and AJ carries her blanket with her everywhere.
I wonder what winter will bring 
We don't run the lights on (just open the blinds) and usually keep our bedroom ceiling fan light off and use only the fan at night.
I haven't gotten my first light bill yet.. *nervous*
