I was offered a seat on the train today....
the best part is that i never was offered them when i WAS pregnant.
I had a HUGE belly and some people even asked if I was carrying twins but DS was just really tall (just under 23 inches) so he pushed my belly out far but i always stood on that hour train ride even at 9 months
But this is the 2nd time in 2 months that someone has looked at me up and down and offered me a seat, this morning it was a woman.
i am 8 months P/P and i know i put on a ton of weight when i was PG and still have not lost it all but I am trying and i just started kickboxing 2 weeks ago and i do the best i can with working full time and taking care of DS and the house. it made me so sad to think i still look PG and to be honest i didnt think this dress that i am wearing at work today even made me look to fat, its lose with patterns that distract.
I hate being this weight and i hate feeling this way. I love hearing its even worse after your 2nd one if i cant even get my body back after the first.
Has this ever happened to you? Any suggestions on how to lose the weight?
I felt so dumb i didnt even take the seat and instead i said no thanks and she just looked at me in the med section area with a confused face.

just take it one day at a time. You will get there and kickboxing sounds like a great start.

Yup, I have had people assume I was pregnant too a couple of times. The trick with me is to stop focusing on how other people perceive you and to instead focus on how YOU feel, and the good things you're doing.
It hurts, but you are made up of a lot more than a quick glance by a stranger on a subway.
