Anyone temp with My Monthly Cycles
I'm pretty much out this month. AF should be here tomorrow. I'm already working on my next plan of action. Going for bloodwork next week, DH is going for an SA and I'm hoping to fit an HSG into my schedule.
I've done all I can throughout this whole TTC process, with the exception of temping bc I really didn't think I could commit to waking at the same time every day. I've decided to start temping this month just to confirm for sure that I am O'ing even though all signs say I am. I have 2 questions:
1. Can I just use my regular digital thermometer? I can't find a BBT anywhere or one that has the 2 decimal points?
2. I've kept track of my cycles on MMC.com and I really would like to just stick with them. Anyone have experience charting with this site?
TIA

I have no experience with MMC. I use FF. However, ii justed to let you know you can get a BBT at CVS (they are near the condoms) or at Target. They are near the fever medicine.

Re: Anyone temp with My Monthly Cycles
I'm on my third bbt thermometer!
I got my first one at Target but it didn't work - it was stuck at 97.71 and told me that was my temperature every time, day or night for three days. Weird. Then I bought the CVS one and it was fine, but its "memory" feature was broken. It's supposed to remember your last temp but it didn't. So I'd wake up at 5:45, temp, roll over back to sleep, and by 9 AM when I woke up again I'd forget what it was and there was no way to check.
So now I'm using one I got on Amazon.com. I've had it for 2 days and I like it. It has a backlight so at 5:45 when it's still dark in my room I can see the temp in the window. It only has temps to the tenths place (97.1, not 97.13) but according to Taking Charge of Your Fertility that's the kind you should use because you have to round to the nearest tenth to chart anyway. Thermometer
Oh, and I use FertiltyFriend, not MyMonthlyCycles, but I think they're pretty similar and I find it REALLY helpful. I input the data (my temps and what my CM looks like) and it just figures everything out for me. It helps me see what's going on with my body. So when I had my GYN appointment yesterday I could tell her with certainty that I did not ovulate last month, stuff like that.
Good luck and happy charting!
