new to the board with a question
I've been lurking here for a while, but I think it's time to come out now since we're going to start trying in August. Which seems far away, but really isn't!
Anyway, I have a kind of dumb question. I just called to schedule my annual exam since I thought it'd be good to get one before officially ttc and this will be a new dr for me, but they can't see me til Sept 10. By then I could possibly be pregnant, granted it'll be our first month trying, so not likely, but still possible. Is it okay to have an annual if you're pregnant? Do I tell the dr right away that I might be pregnant? Should I call back and explain and try to get in earlier?

It is fine to have an annual exam when pregnant. If you know you are pregnant, when you call to schedule your first pg appt, I'm sure the receptionist will tell you if you should come in for the annual or wait until the first exam.

Yes, it's ok. Just tell your Dr that you have started TTC. I did that at my last exam and he said it is fine.
