How much are these usually? Does it matter, stainless steel, non-stick, etc,?

Re: BBQ Skewers?
i've seen the stainless ones for about $5 for a pack of 4 i think.
i prefer the stainless ones to the wooden ones because they last much longer and don't burn up on the grill. never seen non-stick ones, but i've never had any issues with anything sticking to the stainless ones either

Re: BBQ Skewers?
When I am cooking for just my husband an dI I use metal, it works slightly better. When I am cooking for a crowd I use the wooden so my medal ones dont get lost by accident and I can get a whole lot of wooden ones for the price of just a few metal ones. Just make sure you soak the wood ones for a little while before you use them , this will help with the burning problem.
