Buying Crockpot/Slowcooker ?
Those of you that use a crockpot/slowcooker do you have any reccomendations. I found one on www.crock-pot.com on sale for $24.99. You can program it for 4,6,8 or 10 hours, it goes to warm when done and is dishwasher safe.
Is 5 quart big enough. I would mostly be cooking for 4.

Re: Buying Crockpot/Slowcooker ?
I love mine, I just upgraded to an oval 7-qt. one since I thought my round, 5-qt one was too small for us (also a family of 4).... Mine has a count down timer, so I can set it for any time up to 12 hours in increments of 30- minutes and it goes to warm when done.

Does it have a temperature setting such as high or low? If not I don't think I would get that one. Some meals take 8 hours on low, others 6 on high so it makes a difference.
