sperm life?
I was wondering how long does sperm live? Can you still get pg if you BD a few days before your most fertile day?

Re: sperm life?
Depending on the quality of the sperm, they can live up to 72 hours in a fertile environment. Your CM is a good indicator of the type of fertile environment that the sperm will be in. You can also try to use pre-seed, which is a sperm friendly lubricant that helps the sperm stay alive longer and get where they need to go

ETA - If you are expecting to O on Thursay, then I would say start today or tomorrow and keep going until at least Friday.

Sperm can actually live 5-7 days if they make it to the fallopian tube. On average, it is only 3-4 days. However, the sperm has to actually make it through the cervix, which most of them don't. In order to do so, there has to be fertile CM.
The sperm live longer than the egg normally, so you want to sperm there before the egg is released. I'd BD any day you notice watery or EW CM. If you know you are ovulating on Thursday, if you can BD Mon-Thursday, If that is too much, start Tuesday.
Good luck!
