Home Depot and doors Q
We want to get a french door to separate the kitchen from the living room. HD shows 32x81 inch doors. But our area is 32X84 which means we'd have a 3" gap at the bottom. So I went to a website for one of the companies HD sells. On the manufacturers website, they DO have 32X84 inch doors. Would HD be able to order one in that size?

We bought our french doors from Kleet Lumber. They deliver for $5 and the doors are beautiful, I am pretty sure you can get customized there.

What about building the frame of the opening on top - of where the doors would go so the measurements are correct

If you add wood to the top of the door opening, the opening would become 81" high instead of 84".

Ahhh, that's what the previous owners did with another french door we have. I think we might do this as well. Thank you!
