Freaking Out....
I don't post hear often but I lurk and read all about everyone's TTC journey, it's helped me alot. I'm about 16dpo today and I tested this morning because my AF is 3 days late and I got a BFP. Now this is my 3rd month on Clomid and I had a trigger shot about 17 days ago. Is it possible that this is a false positive due to the trigger shot or the Clomid. Has this every happened to anyone. I'm terrified of getting my hopes up. When should I contact my OB-Gyn?

I would think its a valid BFP - 17 days should clear the trigger (clomid doesnt affect test)
I would call dr office and ask them to schedule a beta - then you'll know for sure with consective rising beta numbers

I'd definitely think the trigger shot would be out of your system by now.

Trigger shot lasts for 14 days MAX. Call your doctor - sounds like a valid BFP!!!! Congrats!!

Thanks girls, actually I have an update. I called my doctor and went in to see him on Monday. Turns out I'm pregnant. I'm super excited. Thank you.

what dosage of clomid were you on? did you do IUI or just natural with clomid??

First off, congratulations!
For my first pregnancy, I scheduled an obgyn appointment right away (around 5 weeks i think). I didn't even see the obgyn. All you see is a sac via ultrasound. I had to go back at 8 weeks for another appointment.
This time around, I plan to schedule my first appointment around 8 weeks, when you can see a heartbeat.

Thank you. I was on 100mg of Clomid and this was my 3rd try. It was natural with Clomid, we were about to start IUI this month.

Yeah I was kind of wondering about that. My doctor wants me to come in this week for an ultrasound and I thought it was kind of early. Thanks for the heads up on what to expect.
