Do you test before you miss AF?

I am in my first 2ww. I am so anxious to test and I am about 2DPO. I know I can't test for at least another 8 days or so but I can't wait to test.

Some do get BFP's on 10dpo.

but you could get a BFN on 10dpo then a bfp on 12dpo.... so it's usually preferred to hold out... just so you don't have to see the BFN and be all sad about it.

It's not usually recommended to test early... but at times you just can't hold back!!!! haha!!

I have in the past and found it pretty depressing to see the BFNs.

Last month I was able to hold out until AF arrived, although admittedly that was depressing too.

I'm going to try to wait this month also.

I haven't tested before 11 DPO so far, and mostly have waited for 12 DPO.

I tested at 8 DPO and got a BFN and then again at 11DPO and got a BFP! The earliest I've heard of people getting BFP's is on 8 DPO so try to hold out to at least 10 DPO...it is soooo hard, I know!

This is only my second month, but let me tell you--i tested like there was no tomorrow last month .

I'm waiting until the weekend to test, even though I'm not sure when I'm supposed to be getting AF this month (it was 38 days last month, but last time I was off BCP I was always closer to 28 days).

i dont test unless i miss my period. THOSE TESTS ARE CRAZY EXPENSIVE...besides the OPKs are too

its hard but you know how much it plays with your mind...

I tested early at 8 or 9 dpo b/c i had symptoms...

H-e-l-l yea I test b4 AF is l8. With my DD I got a BFN at 9DPO but a BFP at 10DPO. Then I got pregnant again (and unfortunately miscarried) and got a BFP at 10DPO. I could NEVER hold out until AF was l8.

I am using every bit of willpower I have not to. I am guessing I will cave before Monday when AF is due.

This is our first month officially trying. I'm going to try to wait for AF to be late. I'm kind of scared of having a chemical...I'd rather not know.

I normally test on 10 dpo, but when I see a BFN, I get REALLY disappointed so if you can.... you should def. wait! Good luck!!
