Need help finding a restaurant out east.
my dh and i are celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary bigger then normal this year because last i was about ready to deliver a baby on the floor of the schooner.  so were making up for last years disaster.
we're staying at the hotel we stayed at the night of our wedding. so were looking for a great new restaurant to have dinner. my dh loves steak and i love everything so ladies let me know where your favorite romantic place to have dinner is. something in suffolk would be great east would be even better but we dont mind driving moms got abby so we have all the time in the world!

I really like the Cooperage Inn! It's on Sound Ave. DH loves going there for steak.
Are you looking for something on the north fork or the south fork?

How far east?
I love Harvest on Hudson and Half Moon in Westchester - same owners have a restaurant in Montauk called East by Northeast that I'd love to try.

I've heard great things about 1 North Steak House in Hampton Bays (not sure how romantic though). I love Copa in Bridgehampton and Oasis in Noyac/ North Sea (right outside Sag Harbor.)

Are you looking for something on the north fork or the south fork?
The Cooperage is very good...I've only been there for lunch and the Sunday brunch...if you happen to be out there overnight into Sunday and can take the time to go to the brunch I highly recommend it. Tons of desserts!!

I second this place...we had a WONDERFUL dinner here, the place is beautiful and food and service are excellent.
