To Test or Not to Test
Thursday is DH and I's 3 year wedding anniversary and I will be 10dpo. I really want to test on Thursday morning because I think it would be the most wonderful anniversary present ever to finally get that BFP, but I know it will be so dissapointing if it is negative. Should I test? What do you ladies think? We are both very hopeful about this month since we just got back from a long vacation in the carribean where we were both finally very relaxed, and had lots of time for (sorry if TMI).

Re: To Test or Not to Test
There's a pretty high chance that even if you are PG you'll get a BFN that soon, so I don't want you to be disappointed and despondent your whole anniversary day when it could just be too early...
I know the feeling... I tested the morning of my 31st birthday back in April because it's something I wanted so badly, and I was heartbroken even though AF was already 13 days late... turns out it was just a crazy long month and almost a month later to the day without an appearance from AF, the good news came.
It's a really personal decision for you, and more than anything I want you to be happy!!! If you decide to test, try to not put too much faith in the results.
Wishing you the best anniversary ever and lots of !

Ditto. You don't want to "ruin" your anniversary if you test and it is negative. 10DPO is VERY early. I have never tested positive that early and I am expecting my second child in the fall.

Thanks, I think deep down I knew this, but just needed someone to bring me back to reality.

TA It's a very special day that you need to celebrate regardless of BFPs or BFNs...

Re: To Test or Not to Test
I know how you feel. I will be 12 DPO on DH and my anniversary and will be 15 DPO on Fathers Day. Either day would be a great day to tell DH. I probably will test on 12DPO and if BFN and no AF by 15 DPO will test again.
With my last pregnancy, I got a BFN on 10 DPO and then BFP on 14 DPO but that was with a digital so it is very possible I might have gotten on earlier.
Truth is I am just very impatient

I am horribly impatient as well! I think This process is turning me into a completely lunatic.
