Prenatal (generic)?
My doctor gave me a Rx for Vitafol + DHA, which after insurance it is $90 for 1 month. Can anyone recommend a generic brand? Thanks ladies.

Re: Prenatal (generic)?
Does your prescription have a generic version? My dr. prescribed me Citranatal 90 DHA and I had cvs change it to the generic version because it was alot cheaper. I think the generic version is called foltabs. I didnt start taking them yet, so I have no feedback on them.

I took the Target brand prenatals. They were small and did not upset my stomach at all

I've been taking Rite Aid prenatals, they don't upset my tummy at all. My obgyn said flintstones are even ok to take.

I have been taking Trader Joe's prenatals. A little on the big side, but no nausea at all

I do the women's one a day prenatals-it's a vitamin plus a dha capsule. Best vitamin I ever took!
My OB/GYN recommended it and said it's just as good as anything he could prescribe.

Re: Prenatal (generic)?
I will defintely ask the pharmacy if there is a generic brand. I am taking VitaFol + DHA which has not upset my stomach but I do not like that I have to take 2 pills.
