How many lbs did it take for you to feel/see a difference?
When I started WW about a month and a half ago I had 34lbs to lose. So far I have lost 9.2lbs. I had DS#2 4 months ago and still wearing maternity clothes. I can't even fit into maternity clothes from DS#1 and can't fit into maternity clothes I bought the first half of pregnancy with DC#2. It really is discouraging and although I will def stick with it I sometimes wonder if it's worth it. I was hoping to be a little bit skinnier for the summer but I don't see that happening. I refuse to buy new clothes until I lose most of the weight so I really have nothing to wear. I live in tanks...1 pair of maternity jeans and luckily I have 4 pairs of maternity cargo capris I can wear. It just really s*cks!!

20. Nothing fit better, nothing felt looser until I hit the 20 pound mark.

I have lost 10lbs. I was hoping at this point I would notice a difference, but I don't.
People tell me I look smaller - but my belly is still the same. Maybe my arms/legs are getting thinner - but my gut def. isn't.
My next goal is 15lbs and I'm hoping that I see a difference in my stomach by then.

around 10 pounds very noticable in my face and stomach. After 13 I could pull off my pants w/o unbuttoning or unzipping. I'm in clothing size limbo right now!

I lost 9.2 also
I have about 10 more I want to lose. Of course like you I was hoping to lose more, quicker
But I notice in the way my clothes fit me better.
You can do it! 9 pounds is nothing to sniff at!

Down 8 and barely notice a difference. A few people have commented and I am feeling a little better, but can't see it. I am still motivated though!

Re: How many lbs did it take for you to feel/see a difference?
For me it was 10lbs. I just tried on my pre pregnancy summer clothes and they all fit - I still need to work on my flabby tummy area though but at least I have a wardrobe now. I would say if you have 34lbs to lose they you will start to see a difference in your clothes around 16-17lbs - halfway there.
You are doing SO well with your weight loss that you CANNOT give up now....believe me once you get another 7lbs or so off you will start to notice it and that will give you the incentive. I would say in four weeks you will see a difference if you keep with it.
Stay strong - you CAN do it and it will be so worthwhile

Re: How many lbs did it take for you to feel/see a difference?
Thanks guys...I guess it varies from person to person. I just really thought I would see/feel something by now. Oh well
I am proud of how well I am doing...as far as how much I eat. As of yesterday I am now down 11.2lbs...hopefully when I hit 20 i'll feel better about myself.

For me, when I lost 5 lbs I can feel a difference, but started having people notice around 7-10lbs

i was going to say the same exact thing.
Look at it this way though, it is worth sticking with the program and losing the 34lbs, dont give up. Time is going to pass whether you lose it or not. It has taken me a long, long time to lose weight , I struggle with WW. I have lost 28lbs in 17 months, thats a long time. But I am glad that I didnt give up and I am 28lns lighter , 17 months later. I do feel better about myself.
So dont give up! You will feel the difference at some point
