Last week when I did a blood test I was about 4 days late....after taking about 8 or 10 HPT's that were all negative I decided to go to the doc. They called that day and said they couldn't tell me yes or no...I was 5 on the dot...I have read on the internet where people said they were told they were pregnant with a 5....so I go today and they didn't call back!! So my question is.....is a 5 pregnant? and my other question is can twins give you a false negative HPT?
To answer your twin question, from the few friends that I have that have twins, they never got a false negative. And their blood tests at the Dr always showed higher #'s than single babies. My one friend looked up #s online and compared hers and basically knew it was twins from 12 days after O because her #s were so high. So, I don't think you'd get a negative considering the #s are so high.
I'd call them back today - how frustrating to not call you back! They have to realize how anxious you are! Good Luck!!
