So I had my second Laparoscopy done yesterday.. The first one was 12/2006 and I had a siginficant amount of endo.. This time around I had alot less but It was still there.. They removed it and also blew out my tubes to optimize fertility.. The Dr. said that I should have a very good outcome and that everything went well.. I have a follow up appt. on the 11th. So hopefully I will be getting pregnant shortly.. That's how it was with DD.. I had the surgery in December, was on BCP for January and got pregnant in February but miscarried and got pregnant w/ DD in March!!! I hope this time I don't miscarry (the last time they said it was from the BCP) This is now 9 months TTC.. I really don't know how much longer my heart can take Well I just wanted to update everyone on what's going on with me and wish everyone else luck!!! I'll update again after my follow up have fun I can't wait unitl I can!!!
I have endo too and have had two laparoscopies as well. So, I understand what you're going through! Good Luck TTC!!!
My first lap was when I was 16, my second was a few months before we TTC. My Dr wanted me back on BCP for 3 months to allow everything to heal. I then also had a MC with my first pregnancy. I had to have a very extensive DNC that thinned my uterine wall so I had to wait several months before I could TTC again but then conceived my DD. Now we're trying for #2. If I hit 6 months with no luck, then I'll call my OB to see if I need another lap - I hope I don't!
