last minute ob appt *update*
ever since D&C I've been getting sharp needle like stabbing pains in right hip ovary area. I shrugged it after the first period thinking "ehhh I just had a D&C...this prob just comes with the territory" but after second period the sharp stabbing pain is back...sooo they said to come in tonight for sono. wish me luck...i hope it's not an infection or cysts or something

I had pains after my first D & C for probably a month or so and then they just disappeared one day.

so...I guess it's good news but I'm frustrated. They said sono came back normal...no infections from sample either...soooo basically no answer as to why the sharp stabbing pains besides "maybe it's ovulation" I'm starting to think I should have been a doctor myself.
but I guess no news is good news... Dr. put me back on pre-natals again...i stopped when I lost the baby.

Well I'm glad to hear nothing is wrong, although I wish they could have given you more of an answer. Like you said though, sometimes no news is good news!

I'm glad to hear nothing was wrong.
I have had a dull pain in my pelvis, near my right hip for over a year now, on an off. I had blood work, a CT scan, sonograms, internal exams, even a colonoscopy just in case, and they never found anything wrong. It started just after my mom passed away. The docs just tell me it's stress. It's so crazy - it's like, I'm disappointed that there's nothing wrong! I just want to know what it is, so I can make it go away.
I can't imagine the stress that goes along with a m/c. Your pain might be coming from that, and be nothing that needs to medically treated. I hope so! Good luck, and feel better.

Hey Girl...
From the time after my DNC up even until some days now I get strange cramps. As time goes on it becomes less and less though. So you aren't alone.

Glad to hear nothing is wrong..I have the same problem...last nite i just got my sono results and everything is normal..how annoying right....I wish there was something that can tell me this is the problem! I feel ya
