Anyone know where i can find....
.....Macadamia Nut ice cream.....
Either an ice cream shoppe or in the supermarket??
I need it for a recipe and if I cant find it I will have to just mix macadamia nuts with vanilla but its not the same

For what it's worth I have the Cusinart ice cream maker. It makes small batches very quickly and is so easy to basically create your own. I make coconut ice cream all the time in it and imagine macadamia would be easy to do as well.

Is the machine expensive? Its something i would probably do often since we eat plenty of ice cream but i know DH would  if i spend more $$ on kitchen stuff --- plus i dont have much room...is it big?

It was $50 at Williams Sonoma, but Macy's, Kohls and Amazon all carry them.
It's small and I use it at least a few times a summer. It's really fun to create flavors. I make frozen hot chocolate for DH in it too

Try Coyles Ice Cream
There is one in Bay Shore and one in Islip
They have TONS of homemade flavors. Call and see if they have a macadamia flavor..
