laying your own hardwood floors?
has anyone done this?
we have laid a LOT of tile, but for some reason I'm nervous about hardwood floors.

I have done nail down and just recently done click and lock. Both were relatively simple. THe hardest part is working through corners and room transitions.

Totally do-able DH just did it in two days. The first day was laying subfloor, tarp, and plastic...and then the floor was started. Finished on second day.

My coworker did it and she said the only problem was the cutting at the end.

We did it.
I took two days.
For the amount of money we saved it was well worth it.
We did Bruce's Hardwood Floor and purchased the nail gun that attaches to the air compressor.
