New w/ some questions
Hi everyone!
I'm new here. I lurk once in a while and love how supportive all of you girls are!
We have been TTC for a few months with no luck so I went to the doctor so see if we were doing it right.
They are sending me for all of these tests, and rambled off when to go for each. I guess I can just call on Tuesday, but I figured I'd ask here first.
They are sending me for a sono and a HSG. I think they said to go CD2-5. Does that sound right?
Then they are sending me for bloodwork- Vitamin D, pro lactin and a bunch of other stuff I don't understand. I think they said CD10, or maybe I have them mixed up. This is all new to me.
TIA

I think you may be mixing them up but please double check. I just went to my ob the other day and he prescribed the same tests
The HSG, you need to go as soon as your period ends. That's bc they want to be sure you are not pregnant bc they will be shooting dye into your uterus. The blood work is USUALLY cycle day 3 (the third day of your period).

Re: New w/ some questions
Thanks. That makes more sense since I wouldn't go for a sono with AF.

This sounds correct to me too, but again def. Check with your doctor tomorrow to be sure. And BTW, welcome, I hope your stay here is short and sweet!
