From what I've been reading, OP have tested as early as 10DPO.

I think 11 or 12 DPO is your best bet of getting a BFP if you are PG, I think the test is less likely pick up on it if you test earlier.

Ok, I admit I tested at 10dpo and got a BFP on a FRER....... but I have to admit based on being on this board for a while and from what I have seen, it's best to wait for 12dpo.. so don't use me as an example! 
That said... if you have a really big feeling it's a BFP .. like if you just have this urge to test because you strongly believe it will be positive, then I see no harm in testing earlier! That's actually what led me to test at 10dpo. I had a feeling..
