Mandatory Backflow Test for IG Sprinklers
We just received a letter from the Water Authority informing us that we have 30-days to have our IG sprinklers tested to make sure they're not backing up into the water supply.
Anyone have a recommendation and/or any idea about how much something like this would typically cost? I just got one quote for $95 from a place called Green Turf Irrigation and $60 from a place called County Irrigation. Oh, the joys of homeownership!!
I am in Western Nassau. TIA.

Our water district came in and did ours. I would check that the water district doesn't do it for you.

Our landscaper is certified to do it, maybe check with yours.

I know plumbers are authorized to do them as well. My friend's family owns a plumbing company and I know they do them. FM me if you want their name.

Our water district supplied us with a list of people to call and we just used one of those people to have it done.
I don't remember the cost off-hand, but it was probably around $60-$75.
