Backflow test for sprinklers?
I received a letter from my water company (Aqua) that NY State requires my backflow device be tested yearly. They sent a form to my house. Do I really have to do this??

Yes. I forget why but they can fine you if you don't. My landscaper has his license to be able to do it so they take care of it when they turn the sprinklers on every year.

Yes, if you have a sprinkler system you have to do it. It's to prevent the contamination of your and your neighbors drinking water.
