first few weeks off BC newbie

So, I just got off BC a few weeks ago. Can I start trying to find out when O after the first AF? How long do you think I need to wait before I stop "seeing what happens"?

You can start trying right away, you don't have to wait for it to be out of your system or anything. As far as how long you wait until you really start "trying", that's up to you. Personally I couldn't stand just winging it, I had to know I was doing something to help things along. But some people find it much easier to just Chat Icon Chat Icon and see what happens.

Re: first few weeks off BC newbie

I got off BC about 2 months ago. You can start as soon as you get off. I was back to normal that month. At least I think I was. The only thing that I have been struggling with is being much more sensitive then normal and crazy mood swings thing month. I guess that is expected though with the hormone change. FM me if you have any particular question.Oh and Good luck!

I went off bcp last month, and we have been actively trying. I didnt allow a few mos to regulate AF. I temped, and used OPK this month and definitely O'd (although a little late), but i dont think there is anything wrong with starting right away. IF anything you will get to know your body and symptoms really quick.

thanks for the advice. Did you start taking your temp right away or did you wait a few months?
