Do I have to use a BBT
Or can I just use my regular digital thermometer? What's the difference?
TIA

Re: Do I have to use a BBT
I'm not sure if there is a difference, I got a BBT one, they aren't that expensive only like 7 or 8 bucks. I got mine at Target but I know CVS also has them.

A basal thermometer measures temp by tenths (.1). Many also go to the hundreths place. Most regular thermometers measure in two-tenth increments (.2).
That can make a difference when you are temping since you are looking for small shifts in temperature.

Re: Do I have to use a BBT
Thanks ladies. I think I will use my digital this month to start and see where that takes me.
