The worst Birthday ever!
Today is my birthday and I don't even want to think about it. We had to take my dog to the emergency hospital yesterday and the kept her over night and they want to keep her again. She got really sick but they still have no diagnosis. We already are in almost $2000. DH is flipping and I just want my dog back. I can't stop crying really bad and I am worried about the baby.

I am sorry you are having a crappy birthday
Just be careful, I know it is hard, but try to stay as calm as you can. It is not good for the baby if you get too upset.

I'm sorry your dog isn't feeling well and you aren't enjoying your birthday. Just know he is in good hands at the vet and try not to stress too much. Most vets work with you on the fee, maybe you can do a payment plan or something.

i'm so sorry! i know how difficult it is when your doggy is in pain. but happy birthday!! remember, the calmer you remain, the better it is for the baby. maybe you and DH could go out to a movie or for something to eat to relax a little??

Any updates/news on your beloved pooch?

awww I am sorry about your birthday, I know how you feel though... our cat got sick in the beginning of this year and had to have a surgery, we paid over $3000.00... anyways, just wanted to say despite everything HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I just want to thank everyone for their prayers and their birthday wishes. We ended up picking her up late this afternoon. They wanted to keep her again but we had enough. They still couldn't find out what was wrong with her and we had already spent $1200. We felt like they were jerking us around. When we picked her up she was so excited to see us and she looked so much better. I felt instant relief. The only thing that they could tell us is she was really dehydrated. We are still waiting or the urine analysis results. They sent her home with medicine so I am going to see how that works for the rest of the week and I'll probably take her to the regular vet at the end of the week. Thanks again for all your prayers!
