Fertility Monitor Question
So I started using the CBEFM this month. On CD11, it went to peak fertility (straight from low). CD12, I was still at Peak Fertility. Today, CD13 I was High Fertility. Does that make sense?
I also started temping this month if you want that info. CD10 -97.3 (which was my typical mornings before that), cd11 97.5, cd12 97.7, cd13 97.5.
Before this month, I was using the ovulation sticks and got my smiley between day 14-18 so I thought cd11 would be early. My cycles range from 27-32 days and typically go longer cycle, shorter cycle. Last month was about 30 days so I was expecting about a 28 days this month.
Now I am confused.

Re: Fertility Monitor Question
I can't help you with the temping since I'm wondering myself how all that works but I do use the CBEFM and you typically will get 3-4 high days, then 2 peak days and then 1 more high day. Since its still getting used to your body, that may be why you went straight to peak. It may take a few cycles to get adjusted.

Re: Fertility Monitor Question
Thanks...at least I know that you can get a high after a peak - I didn't think that could happen. I read in the Q&A in the book - you can go straight to peak but didn't see anything about having high after a peak.

It always showed a high fertility day for me after the 2 Peak fertility days. And I actually did a little experiment. I was using a stick every day, until I got my first peak day. Then, I stopped and the second peak fertility day comes peak by default and so does the High day that follows and then it goes down to low. So I think that the FM reads until you reach the first Peak day and then everything else goes to default.....

Oh WOW!! me either!!
I'm nervous about this month! I think I might have messed up.
But to answer the OP... yes that happened to me the first month I started using it. I heard that was a possibility before it happened. For me it was cd18 and 19 peak. cd20 was high. and cd 17 was low. so it skipped just like it did with you. then this month i accidentally skipped a day and so the same thing happened as last month... it jumped from low to peak with no high days. Also, this month it was cd12 that i got the first peak day... which I thought was early too. But it could be just getting used tome. IDK.
Also, I did read that sometimes women have a short cycle thrown in there and that's normal. So maybe this is just out short cycles??

So now we BD on the peak and high days and now I am back to Low. Think I should trust this $200 device and take a break? I am ready to pull out my ole ovulation sticks to double check the next few days. I think the early O day has really confused me.

Re: Fertility Monitor Question
I found the CBEFM to be accurate. The first month the same thing happened to me. You will always get 2 peak days and a high day after that on the monitor. The stuff before depends on your body I think...it has to get to know you and your levels.
I got pg on my 2nd month using it. It turns out I was ovulating later than I thought...and even later than the digital OPK's told me. I started the monitor on the 6th month of TTC and after the 7th I got pg!
Good luck! I'm a true believer in the monitor!
