What food should I set out for a mommy playgroup?
This is a very casual group. The usual food served is:
bagel/cream cheese strawberries cheese its for kids crackers for mommies with hummus coffee/ juice
I'm just bored with the usual routine but don't want to do much- if any- cooking/baking.
Any suggestions on what can be thrown together or bought that could add a little variety?
TIA

We generally do cold cuts (turkey and cheese roll ups for the kids and mommies can make sandwiches for themselves)
I also did "make your own pizzas". I bought the dough from the supermarket (in the dairy section - I cut the ball into 3 sections so each child had their own), made my own sauce, bought pre-shredded cheese and let the kids make their own pizzas. It was really cute! Them I made 1 large one for the moms.

how about adding in Lox to go with the bagels or tuna salad and / or chicken salad if it's a little later in the day?
