I'm giving up the dreft

Okay as I'm folding laundry I realize all of our clothes just don't smell clean using Dreft or All Baby. I miss my TideChat Icon

Since Roman comes into contact with so many people at child care whom I doubt use Dreft or any other baby detergent I'm going backChat Icon

Doesn't tide make a free and clear version?

I wash all my babies clothes with ours and I buy pretty much whatever detergent is on sale...so I don't think its anything to worry about!

Go on, use your Tide!

I have never used dreft, I think it;s a marketing ploy, anothe thing to lure in moms to make more money on an unneeded product, just like wipe warmers Chat Icon

Re: I'm giving up the dreft

I was a dreft addict. Then a friend made me realize that eventhough DD's clothes were washed in dreft she lays in my bed, touches my clothes etc. Needless to say I now use Tide for everything. I still seperate her laundry and do it in a seperate wash.

This is funny because just today we decided tostop with dreft. We had to redo a wash because it still smelled like formula

Welcome to the club!! I only bought 2 bottles of Dreft before I realized how unnecessary it was! I actually have been using other "Free & Clear" brands up until now. I just bought Tide and will be using it on the next load of baby's loads.
