How to find a RE and what to expect
Ok - so thinking of making an appt to see a specialist taking the advice of you ladies. I called my insurance and they have no time frames on TTC and coverage is pretty decent. So since I am on my 9th cycle now and late 30's - I thought I'd start checking things out and planning ahead.
I see Dr Braverman's name on here most. Who else is recommended? Anyone on south shore/Nassau area? Any questions I should ask when I call or anything impt I should say? Right now location and hours are impt for me to even get in there for an appt.
What happens when you go for the appt? What should I expect?
Thanks.

LI IVF is also pretty popular. They're in Melville and also have a couple of other offices.
Most REs offices will send you a bunch of forms to fill out and bring with you to your first appointment. First appointments can be pretty lengthy because they talk things over with you, get your medical history, maybe take blood and do a sono. Once you get the initial tests done and they can determine if there's an issue or not, they'll give you your treatment options.
Good luck!!
