***THURSDAY QOTD***
Yesterday, a lot of you shared great places that you have visited. I LOVE going on vacation and seeing new places.
If you could only recommend 1 place that you have traveled to and loved, where would it be and why?
I would highly recommend Costa Rica! If you are looking for an active vacation, it's perfect. We saw the most amazing waterfalls, hiked and ziplined through the rainforest, saw a volcano spew lava, relaxed in natural hot springs, learned to surf and then spent time on the beach!  There was so much to see and do. I also loved the people there. Everyone we met was so nice and welcoming. The country's motto is "Pura Vida" which means Pure Life...and that it is there....

I havent been to a lot of places but I did love Colorado! It is just beautiful!! The people are very friendly and everything is so laid back. I cant wait to go back in the summer!

Antigua!!! We went for our HM and have never had a better time. Dominican Republic is a close second.

Hands down I would recommend French Polynesia...its the MOST BEAUTIFUL place I've been to. Its amazing in everyway and I feel like everyone needs to go here once..Bora Bora being the most amazing!

Montana...A couple of years ago I went there for a week with a group of friends and we spent the whole time on a ranch...Think City Slickers...It was so fantastic...Tons of fun, and it was so beautiful. Horseback riding all day, and just experiences that I never would've had. I really wasn't going to go on the trip cause I didn't think it would be something I would love, but I figured why not. It really was such an amazing experience. And, to top it off, Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, and their daughter were the only other people there with us, so we got to spend the week with them too
But, celebrities aside, I've said that I have to go back there again at some point in my life...

I've been to alot of places in the US and the most breathtaking sight was the flatlands of Iowa. There were sunflowers as far as the eye could see and the sky was so blue and so vast...and littering the horizon were little white farm houses. Kinda boring I know but it was just this classically american landscape, it made me teary and ridiculously proud to live in this country.

I wanted to go to Tahiti so badly for my honeymoon! Ugh, so jeaous!!!
Snowflake - that ranch sounds like it would be a lot of fun with a group of friends! I'd love to do that!

I second St Lucia. I have to recommend Jade Mountain though. Unlike anything I have ever seen or experienced. I have pics in my album.

OMG! Those pictures were amazing! I may have to have a talk with DH about plans for our next vacation tonight!
Wasn't Jade Mountain where they shot a part of The Bachelor this past season??

I don't watch that show but I did hear that from someone. It is an unreal resort. The pictures don't do it enough justice.
