Question about Peeing after Sex
Ok so I have a dumb maybe TMI question.
I know its healthier to pee before and after  but is that not a wise idea when you are TTC?
should you not pee after to keep everythiing in? 
what do you girls do?

I would think its fine...don't you pee out of a different spot? From what I recall from 9th grade Biology, you pee out of your urethra, not your vagina. So that shouldn't affect the sperm. I could be totally wrong though
The only thing I would think is to maybe stay laying down for a few minutes after BD so less if it drips out...sorry if I am being totally inappropriate with my words. I'm new to this board too!!

PEE!!! Just PEE!!
A lot of women get UTI's so to prevent that they pee after (my first time using the emoticon!).
When the semen is released the sprem go where they need to go and the stuff that leaks out is semen. If you can try to catch "Sizing up Sperm" on the Nat Geo Channel. It will amaze you!

I was holding for 20 minutes and ended up with UTIs--2 times in 2 months!
This past cycle, I wasn't holding and I got my BFP, so I'd say if you gotta go, go!

I usually wait a few minutes, never more than 10 and then go. I have ALWAYS peed right after sex and I have never in my life gotten a UTI (not to say that's is the only way you get them), so I'm way to scared to stop now and end up with one.

I don't pee after sex for at least a half hour. If we have sex right before we go to bed I just fall asleep.
Edit - I have NEVER in my life had a UTI or any problems "down there".

BTDT and had the UTI's to show for it!
don't worry, the sperm is already where it needs to be and isn't going to come out if you pee, if anything the fluid that the sperm is carried in will leak out, but thats normal too.
if you want to lie there after for a few minutes it's ok, but not too long.
The whole idea of peeing is to flush any toxins or bacteria out of your system, so you don't want to wait too long.
i say definitely pee after sex.. it's the best advice my gyno gave me a long time ago.

Well, I've been doing the whole "legs up after BDing" thing, and just went for my annual physical. I had no UTI symptoms, besides some slightly off-color discharge (sorry, TMI), but my urinalysis came back with white blood cells in it, which probably means a UTI. I have to go for another test to see if it clears up. So, my new practice is definitely going to be to pee!!

Like a PP said - the sperm get there right away, the stuff that falls out is just "extra" and won't affect you getting PG

I usually try to pee before but if not and I gotta go...I go lol. I read somewhere that peeing after kills sperm...IDK if that is true but it's kinda stuck in my head

I always pee after sex as I am so prone to UTIs. I got pregnant without any problems. Some of those guys run down your leg, but you just need one!!
