Questions for Dr. B IVF ladies

So, DH and I discussed IVF last night. GHI wants me to do 9 more IUI's before they approve IVF and in all honesty i don't think i can take it. Emotionally, physically etc.

First question, i know his office offers 2 different plans. 1 IVF for 8k and 3 fresh for 20k (i think) Which did you choose and why?

Does anyone know what the $8000 covers? I have an apt with him later this month, but i just wanted to get an idea.

Does this include freezing of the eggs? the meds? any FETS? How much is freezing and fets if not covered?

I am thinking of doing one more IUI cycle, then doing the 1 fresh IVF, then if that all fails going back to IUI's till GHI covers it. I am so confused and i would appreciate any insight from you ladies. WWD?

As always, money is tight, but having a baby trumps all.

This is how it works:
$8K for one cycle: Covers all sonos, blood work, retrieval, ICSI, AH, transfer and sperm prep. Anesthesia is $500 extra day of retrieval.

OR

$10K for all of the above with the option (if you don't get pg on that cycle) to pay an additional $10K for up to 3 additional fresh cycles. Obviously if you get pg on cycle #2, you're done, etc, etc. Again each cycle you still have to pay the $500 for anesthesia.

No embryo storage is included.

We opted for the the $10K, and needed the additional cycles for an additional $10K...in fact still have 2 paid for...just waiting to have surgery before moving ahead.
