Growing Impatient...VENT!
My first appointment with the RE isn't until May 3rd and I am growing so impatient! It is killing me that this cycle is basically a waste, although DH keeps swearing we're going to have a miracle conception which depending on the day either makes me feel hopeful or irritates the sh!* out of me. I just feel like we are wasting time
Thanks for reading...I think I just needed to get that out!

This whole road is such a frustrating process and you are guaranteed to get impatient every step of the way!  What's important to remember is you made it so long (6 months, am I right?) giving it a try without the help of an RE. In just one more week your appointment will be here! Once you start getting help from an RE, there will be more anticipation like taking meds and waiting for monitoring appts to see if they worked...... depending on your situation- then going on to trying out different meds to see which protocol works for you ... going through another 2ww.. (though hopefully not too many more!) ..
Your DH is trying to be helpful and supportive! Who knows what this cycle will bring or next cycle. Just try to relax along the way and remember that you are doing everything in your power to make this happen..... and that's all you can do!!

Hang it there - at least your being pro-active now so you are closer to getting your BFP!
I feel your pain though -- we went through the same thing and even though we have to wait a few months to get DH issues resolved - at least we know whats wrong and are working on so i dont feel as stressed as i did when we were just getting BFN and not know why

It will all be worth the wait once you start running some tests and come up with a plan.
Hopefully once you see the RE, you will figure everything out and get your BFP!!!!

It's tough I know. My DH tried to convince me that we could have a miracle conception in between cycles too. We didn't. But his positivity keeps me going and I would hate to lessen his hopes.
You never know what could happen. Even if it doesn't work, at least you didn't waste the cycle doing nothing.
Hang in there. Stay positive!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, it really made me feel better about the whole situation. You are right, I have made it this far what's one more week!?

Very true, it does help to keep it in the back of my head that maybe just maybe there is a chance. And at least it's something to keep me busy!

I felt the same anxiousness before my first Re appointment too! You are going to feel so much better VERY soon, trust me. Once you get the ball rolling with the tests, and have a plan you are going to feel a sense of relief. Relief in knowing you now have help, and knowing you are closer to your BFP. It's only a few more days, hang in there.
I know its easier said then done, but the waiting game goes hand in hand with IF. If nothing else, this journey has taught me patience!
