Sellers: How many realtors did you meet with before you chose?

I had the realtor we used when we bought this place over last week-- and DH wanted me to talk to someone else to get a "second opinion". I spoke to someone today, and he's going to come over this Thursday.

Both had the same opinion-- sell now if you plan to do it this year.

I guess at this point, it's a matter of who can do what for us.

Our original realtor now has her own place-- so considering we are repeat customers, she might be able to be flexible on fee, etc. But she told me she'd follow up with comps, etc. before the weekend, and here we are on Monday and no follow up.

I'll see what the other guy does-- but I feel like I am cheating on my original realtor.

Can you tell me why they are saying this exactly?

I just asked a similar question recently.

I think consesus is prices are going to drop more, and if interest rates do in fact go up, the prices of homes arre going to go down in addition to the prices dropping bc of the economy...not an expert but a friend of mine who is a realtor were discussing this the other day
