Who did you tell??
So a friend of mine's wife is pregnant with twins.. however its still really early (before 3 months) and he just told a bunch of friends the other night.... I hear about how most people wait to tell everyone.. so I thought that was kind of odd... so now I'm wondering... who did you tell before the "3 month mark"?

We told our parents and immediate family and told them not to tell anyone till after 3 months.

With this one we did the same. With Damien I told everyone when I was only 5 weeks I was so excited

When my bloodwork confirmed it, I told whoever I felt close too..friends, family...we were so so happy we felt why wait?? If something had happened with the pregnancy, they would have known anyway-that was my reasoning. But i can understand waiting as well..

We told our parents at 5 1/2 weeks.
We told our immediate families at 10 weeks.
And the majority of friends and the rest of the family at 12 weeks.

We told immediate fam after the sono and the baby looked incredible compared to last time (greast HB)...we were very explicit about keeping it quiet b/c of the m/c at 8 weeks.
They're not keeping a secret though  I'm getting random calls from family who have never called before fishing for info.

We told our immediate families, plus grandparents & some close aunts/uncles/cousins at Christmas when I was about 9 weeks. I did not tell my youngest 2 brothers (big mouths!!) until 3 months. We didn't tell any friends until 3 months. I felt a bit superstitious, I guess. We were very very excited, but I felt better waiting.
