Is a bottle tote/cooler necessary??
I just realized I don't have this on my registry...I am wondering how necessary it is. If so, what type should I get?? (they have the kinds that just hold one...and the kinds that hold a few) I plan on breastfeeding if that matters but I will be pumping as well...I also plan on sending bottles with DS to daycare.
any recommendations??

Yes - the best one is the free similac one I got from the hospital. Its just a small cooler bag. I still use it now (DS is 22 months) for his yogurts and stuff. It is the perfect size to fit in my diaper bag. I bought a few more on ebay.
I don't think you need a big one with a strap, a small cooler that fits into your diaper bag is best IMO.

i didnt have one prior to abby being born i did buy on later on because we ended up using RTF and it was summer so it was a must and it was small enough to fit in my diaper bag!

I use this one by MaxiCool
It fits 3-4 bottles depending on what type you use. Now i use it for 2 sippy cups and snacks.

Yup! It's really small compared to the others I've seen. I can definitely see it fitting nicely into any diaper bag.

This is the similac one I was talking about. I havent been able to find one as small in stores.

I used this probably more than any other baby item I had.
I don't remember which brand I had, but it had a clip on the strap that I could open, so that I could hang it off the strap of my diaper bag.

If you don't like any of the ones at BRU/BBB you could always get a small lunch type tote/cooler bag some place else. Now that it is getting closer to summer I see them everywhere.

just throwing this out there for food for thought.. i originally bought a cooler that had a seperate ice pack..well if you have Dr. Browns bottles they wont fit in the cooler with the ice pack... so i had to get one that had the ice pack built into the bag
it was from bru i think it was their brand they had a ton of colors it holds 2 bottles. i love it

We used it all the time for DD (formula fed, and now drinking milk). If we are out for more than a few hours and she will need a bottle, I can keep it cold. We have the skip hop one. It holds 3 dr. browns bottles
